The Pacific Northwest has a reputation for having lots of rain and a moody color palette. Some day, and some places really embrace that reputation.
These fantastic trees (and yes, driftwood still count as trees!) were found on Fort Ebey, on Whidbey Island. There are a few ways to to get to the beach, but this route offered an overlook, showcasing the piles and piles of driftwood that had washed up on this shore.
