I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not very good at beach lounging. I can sit there for a few minutes, but then I get curious as to what else is around, and besides, sitting for too long in the sun tends to leave me as red as a lobster!
This photograph was taken after I got too curious one holiday. It was Memorial Day, and I was at the beach with a group of friends. Most of the people in our group were quite content with soaking up the sun while relaxing on the beach, but I just couldn’t sit still that long.
And so, I grabbed my camera and wandered around the corner past the more manicured sandy beach that they were lounging on. Wandered may be a little bit too gentle of a word, as I remember scrambling up and over a few large boulders before finding this stretch of sea! This image is one of many that makes me miss the clear teal water around Okinawa, as well as the amazingly warm weather!
