My vacations tend to be... full. Full of wandering adventures, exploring new places while seeing, tasting and experiencing as much as I possibly can. I was surprised while visiting Dyffryn Gardens to realize that the place made me want to rest. The estate grounds and gardens had me longing to come back and spend a quiet week or two relaxing in the Welsh countryside. Those weeks would be spent on things like tea on the terrace, leisurely games of croquet, meandering to the town market, reading in the shade or strolling through the rolling pastures, dotted with sheep.
