It amazes me how much a collection evolves from the point where I start curating artwork and photographs. This collection started with the realization that there weren't any golden toned collections. Sure there are some warmer pieces in Zabrina, but it is not the standout color in the collection. My initial thoughts were that the collection would end up with paler yellow tones and that it would be a collection that was more lighthearted and honestly more suited for a nursery. Instead, it came together as a collection full of fire and dreams.
That sunset on the beach was a fun image to capture. My husband was away for work, so I met up with a girlfriend for a picnic on the beach as the sun set. We both brought our own food and had an amazing time enjoying each other's company and watching the scenery change as the sun slipped behind the horizon. The beach we were on wasn't exactly a huge one, so later in the evening we had one rouge wave catch us unaware, causing loud protests and a very hurried attempt to move ourselves, our technology and the massive quilt away from the wave before it was all entirely soaked! We managed to succeed with only a corner of the quilt getting wet!
